LIES AND FILTH Series II t-shirts


Today I will be reviewing a T-shirt brand out of Fort Worth, TX called "Lies and Filth"

First off let me just say this isn't your everyday brand. These tees are unapologetically up in your face and it's insane! At first sight you may have the urge to write them off as just another shock tee, but look again, and again! The originality of these monochromatic images give it that extra appeal. These ideas weren't just thrown together on a whim. These are well thought out images intended to provoke and get people uncomfortable. I spoke with designer J. KaAmani about this series and he said " I tried to keep series II just as edgy as the first with twist of mainstream appeal. My shirts trancend cultural barriers.."

As for the new series?.. Well they sent me some unreleased photos of the tees, set to be on sale this Friday NOW!. Here are a few pics and my thoughts: (click on the images for full size)

"Bin Laden Boyz" Look close to see the boyz wearing series one, nice touch.



"Chuy" great logo placement, to say the least



"Mike and the Midgets" Crazy shirt! I love that the first thing you notice isnt MJ!


I won't post all the pictures, I think these are enough to get you going. I havent had a chance to try these shirts on but Lies an Filth are printed on American Apparel shirts so thats always a plus.
