Hi all,
First and foremost, I want to apologize for being M.I.A for a little bit. Things on the home
front got a bit crazy, but I’m back and ready to entice you with a little piece
on the YAOTL THREADS Serie Dos Launch Party
that went down a few weeks back.
I want to begin though with a huge CONGRATS to Javier on
both the release of his new collection and the one year anniversary of his
brand, YAOTL THREADS.
So let’s see…what can I say about the party…only that it
was the bomb.com! Not only did Javier manage to make everyone who came by feel
loved, but he also sold a hell of a lot of t-shirts! Trust me, I literally saw
him morph into Rich “Uncle” Moneybags, aka Mr. Monopoly, handle bar moustache
and all! With the suave and relaxing ambiance of club Barcelona and the
specialty drinks provided by CasaNoble, it was a great time had by all.
The day began with a meet and greet where anyone could
come by and meet Javier. Even better, you could buy tees from his previous collection
and learn more about the brand, its inspiration and how it is pretty much a one
man show. After this, the lights came down, the music began to play and the
guest began to arrive. It was on, time to mingle, socialize and check out the
Serie Dos collection.
Throughout the night, everyone present was able to view
and purchase shirts from this new collection. Not only were the new tees in his
collection H-O-T but they came with a bonus, for every shirt purchased, a
chance to win one of his YAOTL special edition ammo boxes was included. These
proved to be a highly coveted item, yeah there is a story behind that and if you
were there, you know (**wink**). I think I’ll just leave it at that.
Overall, this party was a hit, with great music, great
atmosphere, REALLY GREAT people and a hot, new collection of YAOTL THREADS tees
that are available for purchase right now!
Lastly, on a more personal note, I want to say that it
was an absolute blast for me, not only did I get to spend time with my fam, but
also got to meet some really great new friends. Ok, enough sap…
